Pakk allows you to track stock at any number of locations within your business, rather than just a single, main warehouse. These locations could include: * Warehouses * Transport depots * Third party premises * Vehicles * Offices * Sub-locations within other locations Multi-location inventory is a broad feature that encompasses the following functionalities, all of which are covered in detail in the this article. * Create any number of Locations within your business for tracking stock * Assign stock batches to a Location, or leave ‘unlocated’ * Batch and product-level stock levels are shown aggregated and broken down by Location * Easily relocate a batch from one Location to another * Create ‘Stock Transfers’ to move stock from one Location to another, print and email ’Stock Transfer Orders’ and track their progress * Receive Purchase Orders to new or existing batches at a chosen location * Commit stock on Sales Orders from one or more locations in priority order, or from any Location * Dispatch stock on Sales Orders intelligently by location * Choose which stock Locations your websites should draw stock from * Optionally show stock Locations to customers directly on websites Even if you only currently have a single location in your business for stock tracking - you might still consider setting this Location up in Pakk and assigning all stock to it, so you are ready to quickly expand with other Locations when the time comes. --- # Agent Instructions This documentation is published with GitBook.
