The filter bar is shown by default on all category pages. You can turn off display of filtering completely by choosing Website > Pages > Category Page > Hide Filters
Pakk offers a set of filters on common fields (e.g. brand, stock availability, price etc) that can be set up at website level. Go to Website > Pages > Category Page > Built-In Filters
to specify which of the built-in filters you'd like to display and in what order. This setting affects all category pages on your site.
All other filters shown will be based on Custom Attributes that you set up and apply to your products. When setting up Custom Attributes there are some settings which are pertinent to filtering
Choose for which categories this Custom Attribute will appear as a filter. For example, if you've created an attribute 'number of keys' for pianos in your music store, you will only want this filter on piano and keyboard categories, but not woodwind instruments.
The Custom Attribute group not only affects where this atrribute is displayed on the product information tab of the product page, but also how the attribute is grouped when presented on the filter bar.
