Troubleshooting

Nothing seems to be working. Lot's of stuff seems broken.

You might be using an old version of the admin panel. Make sure to "hard refresh" your browser. The procedure is different for each browser, but normally involves "emptying caches" or something similar. Do a search for "hard refresh <browser name>" to find out how to completely refresh your browser cache.

The admin panel seems slow and/or seeing random visual bugs.

Tihs is 99% being caused by one or more browser plugins or extensions. Particularly extensions that try to 'parse' or change the contents of web pages cause havoc with the Pakk admin panel. As a short-term measure, try disabling all plugins, restarting the browser, then opening the Pakk admin panel. If it functions normally now, you know one or more plugins are causing the problem.

To localise which plugin or extension is causing issues, you'll need to start enabling them one by one until you've found the culprit. Once you know which plugin is causing problems, you have a couple of long term options:

  1. Leave it disabled permanently if its not important

  2. Set up a different 'profile' or similar in your browser which uses no plugins, and use that when you use your Pakk admin panel

  3. Use a different browser specifically for Pakk (e.g. if you use Chrome normally, use Firefox for Pakk)

  4. Find out how to disable plugins on a domain-by-domain basis and exclude your Pakk admin domain

Why can't I upload PDFs larger than 5MB? What can I do about this limit?

It's to avoid bottlenecks and hogging of system resources. Plus, forces customers to download large documents is bad practice. Unless your PDF is truly huge, you can probably reduce it using a PDF editor tool, like PDF Expert (Mac), without visible quality loss. Your customers will thank you for it.

I can't see my KPI dashboard. What should I try?

  • Make sure the account owner has correctly set up the dashboard in account settings. They need to make sure they have the correct URL and dashboard ID.

  • Make sure the account owner has assigned the dashboard to you in User serttings.

  • Logout and log back in again (or just refresh your login).

  • Make sure you are not blocking cookies. In Chrome, for example, go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Allow all cookies. Other browsers have similar settings available.
