Sales Orders
The "Send to FBP" and "Sync from FBP" buttons for Sales Orders work in a similar manner. One important difference is that you cannot update orders on FBP once they have been sent. There are potentially quite complicated workflows at the warehouse, and if an already committed order needs amendments, it is best to talk directly with warehouse staff to agree on what changes can or cannot be made (for example, the order might have been partially dispatched).
The following fields will also appear on your FBP tab:
"FBP Order Status": The current status of the order in the FBP system.
"FBP Dispatch Date": The date the order was marked as dispatched on the FBP system.
"FBP Dispatched by User": The FBP staff member that processed the order.
"FBP Tracking Number": The tracking number assigned to the order on the FBP system.
"FBP Tracking URL": The URL provided by the courier for tracking the parcel.
Sales Order Rules The following rules apply for FBP Sales Orders:
You can only send an SO if the location is an FBP warehouse.
You can't send a cancelled or closed SO.
You can't update an already sent SO.
You can't send an SO that contains only non-stockable items.
Composite Products Even though they are not loaded as products (they are non-stockable Pakk product types) to FBP, Composite products are processed seamlessly by FBP. Orders including composites contain all the necessary information for warehouse staff to bundle the individual items together.
Batches Batch information (batch number, expiry dates) for each product is sent to FBP for the warehouse staff.
Multi Location Orders You can only send an SO to FBP if at least one of the products is in an FBP warehouse. Only order lines corresponding to products handled by FBP will be sent to the warehouse, leaving any remaining items (items from other locations or non-stockables) to be processed as usual within Pakk.
Dispatches Using "Sync from FBP", you will get up-to-date information on the Order Status at the Warehouse. Once dispatched by FBP, the order will have to be manually dispatched within Pakk. This gives you control of the workflow and enables processing of orders containing non-FBP items.
Branding FBP orders from tenants with multiple websites will have their branding (logos, etc.) overridden from the top-level account settings, rather than using individual webpage information.
